Today was my first day of clinic! It is amazing how incredible it feels getting out of the classroom and starting to apply some of the knowledge (albeit as little as it may be) to real patients 🙂 I’m working at Burke Health and Rehab Center waaaaay out in the burbs of VA. It is a post-acute inpatient facility and I absolutely loved my first day.
I learned two things: I LOVE working with old people (and for some reason, they seem to take a shine to me too) and I know a lot more than I thought. *self high five.
Can’t wait for day two….why must it be two weeks away. *sigh
