Tee-Gee-Eye-Ef (reflections on my first week of work, Narinder style :)

Congrats to all my fellow SPTs!!

Its FRIDAY! A really truly really real one!

What do I mean by that? Well, no homework to do &  no tests to study for… It is just me, the beach, my book, and this wheat grass smoothie. I can do what ever my little heart desires and not worry about getting behind in pediatrics. We all know what DPT programs think of weekends and holidays:

Now, I must admit, I’m pretty exhausted! “Real work” is a bit more tiring than sitting in lecture all day!! It is physical and mental work, not to mention social. (After all, spending the last 2 years with 36 of my fave SPTs was awesome, especially after they all realized I was totes crazy, so I didn’t have to expend so much energy acting normal-town).

In the evenings I would come home and give the couch a good old fashion PLOP, put up my barking dogs, and think back about all I had done that day. Really kind of amazing what you can accomplish in just one day: between the people I helped, the skills I practiced and learned, and the amount of documentation I was able to crank out (slowly getting better at that), I almost feel like a real PT.

I’m ready for week two, but only after FULLY enjoying the rest of this weekend!

So, everyone get your Narinder on and share your best clinical experiences via Meme (mememenerator.com)!
