Brunch is a big deal in NYC. I quickly learned this when I moved here. Sure, I’ve enjoyed some delicious egg-tastic dishes throughout Brooklyn… However, my FAVORITE kind of brunch involves 3 things:
German expressionist epic science fiction films
Live Music
&
Ashi (my sister)
Blam! That all happened today at Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg.
Nitehawk was screening Fritz Lang’s Metropolis (which can be seen in its entirety on hulu or amazon!) for their brunch show and if that wasn’t awesome enough, they had 3 fantastic musicians playing a haunting original score. I can still feel that base vibrating my viscera.
