MATHMATECAL!
Anyone who has been hanging with me over the last few years knows I love the television show Adventure Time. Often when I tell people, they are like: “Oh, that cartoon…the KIDS show?” I try and explain that it is much more than a KIDS show but a brilliant romp with fantastic art direction that is simultaneously sophisticated and silly…not to mention 11 minutes is the PERFECT study break time.
Now, not that I am ever looking for an excuse for my sometimes childish behaviors but I felt slightly vindicated today when I heard the following piece on NPR as I drove into work:
An Adventure for kids and their parents too
Ultimately, I suppose I’m drawn to the show because it fundamentally resonates with my personal gestalt:
Life is just an adventure!
(not to mention all the girls in the show are princesses or rockstar vampires!)
